This movie, much like Deadfall, was ENTIRELY carried by Cage!! Kiss of Death itself is your basic organised crime movie: witness protection, moles in the underground crime circuit, cops, gangsters, cocaine, strip clubs, etc etc etc, nothing really new… except the Cage Rage was outstanding!!!
Get into this: Cage is playing a big ass beast of a gangster. The kind of guy they bring around to beat a man to death with his bare hands. There is literally a scene where Cage beats Michael Rappaport to death with his bare hands. Cage clearly had to put on a ton of weight to play this guy. Look at him, he’s fucking huge!!
The character itself is just ragin’ Cagin’ all over the place, check out this clip:
When we first tried to record this clip we accidentally had the slo mo setting on the iphone, and the result was so good that I almost peed my pants laughing:

Cage wasn’t the main character, so all of the other shit in the movie is whatever, but the Cage scenes really made it all worth it.
Ooooook, next up is Leaving Las Vegas. I have never seen this one, and I have been told to brace myself for a real depressing cry fest. Wish me luck!
