Peggy Sue Got Married kicked so much ass, I absolutely loved this movie! It also had a young and super hot Kathleen Turner, which somehow I have never seen until now. What a babe!

There was also a young Jim Carrey, and a young Helen Hunt. This was another one of Uncle Francis’ masterpieces, so no wonder it was so good, but this time he was kind enough to give his talented nephew the leading male role, and this role was Cage gold!!

The basic story is Kathleen Turner goes to her 25 year high school reunion, her and Cage are in the middle of a divorce, she faints and goes back in time to her senior year in high school and goes through her relationship with Cage all over again. Then her grandpa strangely belongs to some insane time travel society that sends her back to present day and her and Cage work it all out. The End. All in all it reminded me of a Francis Ford Coppola movie combined with a John Waters movie, and that is is winning combo in my book!

Cage playing a high school hunk in 1960 was great, but for some reason threw on this total derpy nasal voice which was both strange and awesome all at the same time. Here is a great screen grab of Cage derping out hard:

And here is an amazing video of Cage singing with Jim Carrey (supposedly he did his own singing!):

And here are some crazy pics of Kathleen Turner’s grandpa’s secret society sending her back to present day:

Peggy Sue Got Married was a real good time, I highly recommend. Tonight I am watching Raising Arizona and Moonstruck back to back!!
