Day 50: Kick Ass

We’ve officially hit 50 days of Cage! Only 20 to go!

Aloha to all of my mainland Cage fans, the next 8 Cage movies will be watched while I am on the island paradise of Oahu for Christmas! You can imagine how pumped my husband was to find out that I am bringing a flash drive full of Cage movies on vacation, but I am a woman on a mission and I give zero fucks!

In order to stay on track, as work and holidays and adult life set me back a bit from the schedule last week I had to watch two Cage movies on the flight over to Hawaii. I was so stoked to find that Kick Ass was one of those movies, I loved this one! I’ve seen it several times before starting 70 Days of Cage, but I’ve gotta admit that Cage is not the best part of this movie. It’s that little girl Chloë Grace Moretz that totally owns this movie. They make her look like she’s ten years old, but I’m guessing she was probably 14ish when they filmed it. Her action scenes a so dope, if I were in her shoes I would quit acting after this role because nothing else would be nearly as fun after playing Hit Girl:

Now let’s talk about the man we are all here for. Cage plays hit girl’s dad, and he dads it up big time, look at this guy! He plays dad by day and superhero by night:

Speaking of Cage dad, did you know he named his son from his third marraige Kal-El, which he chose because it’s Superman’s birth name? Did you know that his first son, Weston Cage, was a heavy metal musician? Check out that spawn of Cage!

Here’s an awesome shot of big daddy Cage shooting his daughter to teach her how to take a bullet with a bullet proof vest on:

Cage rocks an awesome super hero voice when he’s in costume too, not quite Batman’s insane voice, but he makes it his own:

Next airplane movie I’m watching is The Sorcerer’s Apprentice!
