Did you know that Judge Reinhold is a writer and director, as well as an actor? Did you also know that he wrote and directed a really fucking insane movie called Zandalee? This movie was a real treat to round out week 3 of TWC. Of the five films we watched this week only one wasn’t a total wierdofest, that being Fire Birds. We started with Vampire’s Kiss, then Time to Kill, then Wild at Heart, and then Zandalee as the icing on the cake! Cage really signed himself on for some crazy shit in the late 80s/early 90s!
Zandalee is about a love triangle taking place in New Orleans between Judge, Judge’s wife Zandalee, and Cage. Cage plays a painter who loves to do coke, and his look is this film is fucking classic! He has a power mullet and satan’s facial hair, I was really into it.

Here’s an awesome Cage coincidence that happened in Zandalee: right before watching the movie Alexa and I were skyping and discussing the idea of dressing up as the slutty Gremlin from Gremlin’s II, and throughout our discussion we did find some amazing google image searches:
After we got off of skype we both put on Zandalee, and who should have a cameo in this movie?? The main dude from Gremlins, Zach Galligan!!! Whoooooooa!!! I call this Cage magic…

Yup, week 3 was for sure the weird experimental shit week, and I loved every second of it! Except for Time to Kill, fuck that movie.
Onto to week 4 of 14! Next film is Honeymoon in Vegas!
